Man Utd in town!

Well, Liverpool has decided to snub its fans in Malaysia. So, the next best thing is to see Man Utd in Malaysia. CR7 is no longer in Man Utd, so it’s pointless to go and see the rest of the Man Utd playing against the best of the Malaysian side.

Rooney

They launched their new home kit for 09/11 season right before embarking for their Asian tour. Nike Malaysia launched the jersey nationwide and accepted pre-orders even before Man Utd reaches Malaysia. The jersey is reminiscence of the 1910 Man Utd team, hence the ‘V’ pattern on the chest and the simple design.

Scholes

Selling for RM259 a piece, some Man Utd fans dislike the new jersey, calling it too simple and normal design. And some even compared it with the fakes at Uptown.

In my opinion, the 07/09 jersey is probably the best ever produced by Nike. But the cutting is a bit tight, even for size XXXL.

Traffic Lights

Dumb lights

Dumb lights

People, have you noticed that all traffic lights in KL are not intelligent?

For example, you’re driving home at 3 in the morning and you reaches the junction near your house. Traffic is super clear that time of the day (for obvious reasons). And yet, why must you wait for the lights to turn green, whereas you’re the only one waiting? Shouldn’t the lights intelligent enough to detect that there is only your car at the junction, and immediately turn it green?

Wonder why the relevant authorities still use this kind of lights? The technology is already available and widely used in other countries. And yet KLlites (possibly the most congested city in Malaysia) still have to content with dumb traffic lights.

Wanna know the reason of traffic jams? Unintelligent traffic lights. Duh?

What Bird Is This?

I came back late one day when i saw this bird inside my bathroom. It looks like the bird has accidentally entered the bathroom through the window. At first I thought the bird is dead, until I picked it up, and it put a bit of a struggle.

Weird bird...

Upon examining it, I noticed that one of the bird’s leg is injured, but the wings are okay. So I decided to let the bird go by letting it fly off from my balcony. It flies off and never look back. If I’m keeping it in my house, there would be no proper place to keep the bird. Unless I kept it in a jar, which is totally, and utterly, pointless.

BTW, can you tell the species of the bird? Is it a swallow?

The New T-Shirt

What's written on your t-shirt?

What's written on your t-shirt?

I saw this t-shirt as worn by my 12-year old niece. Sold for RM10 a piece (or even cheaper), you can find it at almost all shopping malls and even at the Uptown night markets.

It seems that the t-shirts are targetting at the youths and you will spoilt by the many choices available, some bordering on obscenities. My advice is, if you want to buy some for your kids, please look at what’s written on the t-shirt first before committing to buy. It may expose your child to abuses.

No more ghost stories?

Hantu

It seems that the Malaysian Censorhip Board has gone overboard, again. They once again prevented ghostly images in movies and dramas to be shown to audiences. The reason? Just don’t laugh. They afraid that by viewing ghost movies or dramas, the Muslims will believe it and more or less will lessen their own religious beliefs.

I can only say this: WTF?

I’m a born and practising Muslim for all my life. Is it by watching ghost movies, I will turned infidel? Please grow up, Malaysian Censorship Board, or the rest of us will outgrown you. Stupid.
