I was just arrived home last Tuesday when I noticed some water flowing from my upstairs’ neighbors apartment. The water flows from the piping and supposedly was designed to let water from the balcony to flow down away from other people’s balconies. But whenever the wind was strong, the water will not flow as intended and instead will splashed in all directions, and into other people’s balconies.
I quickly went to the 10th floor and called out the houseowner. I told him about what happened and advised him to stop washing the balcony (he’s been doing this daily, some even at 12am!). He looks stunned and after hearing whatever I had to say, he apologised profusely and mentioned that they had moved here about 3 months ago and not aware about the trouble that they had caused.
I managed to maintain my cool throughout the ordeal (if you can call it that) and luckily the other person didn’t felt offended to my advice. Did I tell you that it pays to be diplomatic?
