I managed to find another one of Nandos Malaysia’s billboards in KL, and this time it’s at the Federal Highway, near the exit of Subang Airport.

Nandos told me that they have several of this tongue-in-cheek advertisement around KL, but so far I can only find two (the first one is here).

I apologise for the poor quality photo. It’s difficult to take any kind of photo while being in a moving vehicle and the board so high up, especially with an iPhone.

Well, at least I’m not speeding.

Here Got Lots of Chickens!

A whole lotta chickens!

Saw this large advert (billboard) on the wall of Imbi Plaza in Jalan Imbi KL today.

The Malay wordings are loosely translated as “Here a lot of chickens. Peri-Peri Chickens” as translated via Google Translation.

This is probably a tongue-in-cheek kind of statement as Jalan Bukit Bintang/Jalan Imbi was widely known as the red light district back in the 80’s, and still is if you know where to look. The workings ladies, or ‘ayam’ (chickens) as they called it, roamed Bukit Bintang like it’s the Asian version of Amsterdam’s Rossebuurt.

Basically it’s an advertisement (wonder how much it cost, given the location and size) by Nando’s Malaysia to promote their infamous Peri-Peri Chicken. Ingenius.
