As you’ve probably known, I collects miniature teapots. You noticed that I didn’t used past tense in my first sentence, as I still collects miniature teapots. Not just teapots, but NiNi teapots. Not much is known about the producer of the NiNi teapots (if you google “nini teapots”, bears little result), except the teapots are distributed by a company called S.S. Sarna, which is based in the US.
I started collecting the teapots way back in 1998 and so far I have 12 teapots in my collection. A few years ago, it is quite easy to acquire the teapots, as Metrojaya stocked them in various models. Then suddenly, they stopped selling. And I stopped collecting.
Recently, a fellow collector contacted me via email as she has read an entry in my blog about the teapots. She wrote that she’s also an avid collector and got a few teapots of her own (she got a photo to prove). She also told me that there’s a shop somewhere along the KL-Seremban highway and still sells the pots.
Time to pay the shop a visit.
See my earlier post about the teapots here.
