Ever since Sunway Pyramid was refurbished and added a new building, parking there was always a joy. I haven’t encountered any of the parking woes I had before this (which is due to the lack of parking spaces).
Now they added a new parking indicator which informs would-be-parkers where to park and how many parking spaces are left.
MidValley Megamall deployed the same kind of system but with a different twist. They just put the LED signage outside of the shopping complex. This makes shoppers who parked there having hard time looking for available spaces, as the system didn’t indicated where the empty parking lots are. Seems like defeating the purpose of the system, really.
For what I noticed is, the parking indicator light (located exactly on top of the parking space) will turned to red within 3 seconds once a car parked under it. This will in return informed the main LED signage (the top pic) on how many lots are available.
Anyhow, I love the parking system at Sunway Pyramid!
